EIOL teaching is divided into four parts:
Theoretical courses given by expert practitioners. The characteristics of the lingual technique and the different clinical protocols are explained and detailed.
Study of cases treated by the academic staff. Many cases are discussed based on the study of treatment plans and sequences of treatment, it is the therapeutic strategy that is analyzed.
Practical workshop. These are simulations of treatment sequences on phantoms and typodonts which allow each student to acquire all the appropriate clinical gestures. The study of videos allows the student to learn all the essential and specific protocols to master the technique.
The follow-up of cases treated by the students in their own practice. At each session, the progress of the cases is monitored and the students receive corrections and recommendations from the teachers. It is a case-by-case support that is set up during this training and which can be continued after the training
Thanks to the practical exercises and the permanent follow-up of the cases, the learning process is accelerated, the clinical gestures become natural and the student acquires, month after month, confidence and serenity, which are essential for success.
